Windows 95/98/ME/2000

• Change dialup Username and Password

• Set Schat.net as Default Dial-up Connection for Internet Explorer

1. Click on Start, go up to Settings and select Control Panel.
     
   
     

2. Select the Internet Options icon
     
   
     

3. Now choose the Connections Tab

   • Remove any accounts listed under Dial-up Settings that are not Schat.net

   • Put a dot on Always Dial my Default Connection (Sets AutoDial for Web Browser - Internet Explorer) also sets AutoDial for Email Program if auto dial in Outlook Express is set for Local Area Network.
       
       

4. Under Dial-up setting Select Schat.net 

   1. if it does not say Schat.net (default) Select the Default Button to the Right.

   2. Left Click Schat.net and Left click on the Settings button.

5. Put a Check Mark on Automatically Detect Settings.

6. Under Dial-up Settings enter in your Username@schat.net and password (lower case)

   • do not put anything under domain
       
     

7. Select Ok (to close setting window)

8. Select Ok (to close Internet Properties Window)

9. Close Control Panel

10. Finished
