Connection Setup - Windows 95/98/ME/2000

1. Click on Start, go up to Settings and select Control Panel.
     
   
     

2. Select the Internet Options icon
     
   
     

3. Now choose the Connections tab and click Setup  (Remove any accounts listed under Dial-up Settings)
     
   
     

4. Select the third radio button (I want to set up my internet connection manually...). Click Next.
     
   
     

5. Now select the first radio button (I connect through a phone line and a modem). Click Next.
     
   
     

6. Select 56k v.90 or v.92 Modem from the drop down menu. Click Next.

   --This Step only shows up if you have Multiple Modems
     
   
     

7. Enter your Local Access number for Schat.net. (Click here for a list of local numbers). Click Next.
